Inquiry-Based Learning Workshop

When: Friday 12:00—3:00

What happens when you open the gates and let students ask the questions? Will you explore relevant content? Will you be able to find the answer? Is there enough time? In this workshop, you will experience inquiry-learning as students and learn structures and strategies to support inquiry in your classrooms when the process leads students outside your areas of expertise. The workshop integrates the theoretical foundations of place-based, inquiry and experiential learning, and refines your skills as a learning coach whose expertise is the learning process, and not always the specific content. Meet at NOLS Noble Hotel classroom (Use 3rd Street entrance).
