The Association for Experiential Education (AEE) - Rocky Mountain Region website is a resource for AEE members, teachers, educators, camp directors, social workers and others to help promote experiential education in the Rocky Mountain Region. The Association for Experiential Education divides North America in eight regions. The Rocky Mountain Region is defined as encompassing Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Sonora and Sinaloa (Mexico).
This site includes recent announcements, newsletters, articles, member forums, and a calendar of events to help keep individuals up to date. Wilderness Ministry Professional’s Course (WMPC) Offered three times yearly. SROM offers the WMPC to provide a premier training and development opportunity for persons who want to lead wilderness or outdoor ministry experiences. The course is specifically designed to teach and develop individuals to instruct backpacking and rock climbing experiences from a Christ-centered worldview. Individuals must have a minimum of six weeks field experience in a minimum of one week increments. CLICK HERE for more info.
